Family Law Mediation
The Family Law Lawyers at Ross McBride LLP are reaching out to all their clients and potential clients during these very difficult times to let you know we are here to support you and hope that you and your families are safe and well.
While many have joked or expressed the sentiment that these times will be good for Divorce lawyers, we can appreciate that for many, these unusual circumstances are likely creating additional pressure for families already experiencing conflict. Your situation may be further complicated by the fact that many parents are out of work, or at home, and children’s involvement in activities outside the home are non- existent or severely limited.
Given these unprecedented times, we want you to know that our Family Law Group is committed now more than ever to supporting you and assisting you and your family in resolving your family law matters in a cost effective and practical way that allows you and your family to move forward, while maintaining positive relationships.
How can we help?
Joanne F. Guarasci of the Family Law Group at Ross and McBride LLP who has 31 years of practice experience, conducts mediations, and has collaborative law training, along with her associates are now offering virtual mediation through a completely confidential video conferencing platform wherein issues such as parenting plans, child support, spousal support and property division may be addressed. At the conclusion of mediation, it would be our hope that you have worked together with the mediator to arrive at a final and comprehensive separation agreement prepared by the mediator and available for you to review with independent counsel.
We recognize that your ability to provide retainers and pay accounts immediately may be limited during these times while you are taking care of more basic and necessary financial expenses to meet your family’s needs. Our Lawyers will work with you to come up with a creative retainer arrangement that will be determined on a case by case basis depending upon your circumstances.
A brief telephone consultation at no cost can be arranged with any member of our Family Law Group to determine whether mediation is suitable for your family.
